GOBS Dinner Meetings
Come join us!
Come join our friendly bunch of carnivores each month as we venture out to sample the best “Que” and other fixins in the area. Some dinners are catered from our local award-winning BBQ Team chefs. We invite you to join us, socialize, make some new friends, and – of course – talk about BBQ!
Each regular dinner meeting includes a social hour from 6 – 7 pm, followed by a short business meeting including information on upcoming events. Then the best part – we eat!
Members are asked to phone or email their monthly GOBS dinner reservation each month to our Dinner Reservation Person, by the day specified by the BBQ caterer. If you are not a member and would like to come join us contact any of the Board Members and they will be pleased to sponsor you. The Greater Omaha Barbeque Society is responsible to pay that caterer for the number of dinner reservations we receive for that dinner.
Note: Our dinner meetings are always “come as you are” and we often dine outside in warmer months…to add to the fun! We hope to see you at our next monthly dinner meeting! All members, please make sure you RSVP to Butch Clark at b1clark@cox.net or (402) 334-0594

GOBS Dinner Attendance and Cancellation Policy:
Effective with the December 2010 Dinner meeting, if you make a reservation and are unable to attend, you must call to cancel your reservation at least 48 HOURS in advance of the dinner, or you will be invoiced for the total dinner amount of your reservation by GOBS.
Effective with the April 2011 Dinner Meeting, if you choose not to RSVP for a GOBS Dinner meeting in accordance with current GOBS policy but still show up to the GOBS dinner meeting, you will be charged an additional $2 per dinner over the normal member price and you will be served last.
